While having a German driver in their lineup is certainly of interest to Audi, it is not a requirement.

The son of seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher, Mick showed promise throughout his junior career, winning the 2018 European Formula 3 Championship and the 2020 Formula 2 Championship. Duesmann emphasized that they are not entering Formula 1 on a whim; they are determined to show what they are capable of achieving. “We have done everything possible to win in all the championships we have participated in,” he said. “So far, we have always succeeded.”
